This is a new variety of oolong tea called Jinxuan, which was collected at Mr. Ye's tea plantation in the high mountains of Alishan in central Taiwan. After repeated improvements to make it more delicious and fragrant, it was completed in 1981 and named Taicha Twelve. The three leaves, including the new buds, are hand-picked and carefully kneaded. It is characterized by a sweet vanilla-like scent.
